The newest tech geek toy iPad has already got its first poker application. It comes together with a handy app called Game Table on April 3rd, 2010. Poker is just one of the games besides chess and checkers. This iPad application costs $0.99, so it’s really affordable. There is no more details about the game, but it seems quite interesting if players will be able to fold or through away chips with finger touch. Hopefully it will reveal a new touchscreen experience for poker players.

$45 million for shoutbox? That’s insane!

Bwin engineers are updating the software to integrate a first social media feature in the poker software. That will cost $45 million. The future features are described vaguely – something like shoutbox or instant messenger which should help social interaction and communication among players. Guys, just invest a couple of million to community building in most popular social media like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace and you will be much ahead of your competitors! :)
